Here are the chocolate-dipped bacon lollipops— clearly what you’ve all been waiting for! (Apologies for the bad lighting!!) The verdict? Mixed reviews all around. The main consensus was that the bacon was not at all crispy, and that was a huge downfall. Also, the flavor pairing was too intense for some. I personally loved the flavor profile— the bacon was really thick cut and smoky and paired with the subtlety of the dark chocolate (not too sweet), it made a great nibble. Would I order this again? Probably not, because I like my bacon crisp— and because there were too many other great things to try! Next time I’m in Georgetown I’m definitely revisiting Farmers and Fishers.
