As I’m racing to buy a few last-minute gifts over the next few days, I’ve been glancing at my own wish list a bit. There are always little gadgets (or some larger items) that I’d love to add to my kitchen. Here are some ideas for great gifts for the favorite chefs in your life!
Under $25
This is one of my favorite little gadgets in the kitchen. If you’re looking to make the perfectly shaped and sized cookies, or just want for the teensiest scoop of ice cream, this is a great addition to your kitchen. A Silpat non-stick silicone baking liner is a must if you’re a cookie baker. It’s easy to clean and makes those cookies so easy to remove from the pan, without sticking. Find it on Amazon for $19.99, or at any local chef store, like Williams Sonoma or Kitchen Kapers.
This is one of my favorite gadgets. I use lemon zest in a lot of recipes and have been frequenting fresh ginger lately. Microplane, one of the best zesters or graters on the market, is one of the best tools in my kitchen, and $9.95.
We recently switched to French Press and it has revolutionized coffee for me. My coffee comes out tasting so rich and flavorful, and always strong. The cup sizing is for European size (smaller) cups, so your best bet is to go for a larger size. $39.95.

Lately I’m really into coffee. The Aeroccino has given me reason to avoid the local coffee shops and study at home. With the touch of a button I’m able to steam or froth milk and make my own lattes at home. I’m in love. High Nespresso quality and only $96.50!
