I love the concept of “winter break” (this is my last one!) A time to relax, be warm and cozy, spend time with family and friends, without some of my typical daily hassles. Today my dad and I did some gift shopping and went to lunch together (being home is so fun:) We went to First Watch, a breakfast spot I used to frequent in college in St Louis which has since opened a location in Baltimore. I got the Bacado omelet- bacon, avocado, and cheese served with sour cream and salsa (love). Now off to help a friend bake a welcome home cake for her fiancé who has been overseas for two weeks, then back home for dinner. I love today!
